2023 Youth ATV Safety Classes
Youth ATV Safety is one of the best times to instill the responsibilities of safe ATV operation. Young riders are the future of this activity and Certification opens the door to discovering Minnesota's trail systems.
Minnesota state law requires riders born after July 1, 1987 to complete the training before operating an ATV. Our classes are open to students 11 years of age or older. Once students have completed the MN DNR Online Training Course they are eligible for the Minnesota Youth ATV Safety Course. This training consists of classroom training and the demonstration of practical riding skills in a safe and supervised setting.
PLEASE NOTE: These classes tend to fill quickly so try to make your plans well in advance. Classes are limited in size and these are the only classes offered in Grand Rapids for the 2023 season.
