Trail Rides - Swatara to Outing

On June 1, 2024 club members took a trip from Swatara to Outing via the Soo Line Trail in Aitkin County. We used the Moo-Soo connector trail through the beautiful Land O’Lakes State Forest to reach our destination. 

The trip took about 6 hours actual trail time – round trip. We stopped for lunch at the restaurant along the shores of beautiful Lake Roosevelt in Outing, refueled at the local gas station and convenience store and made our way back to Swatara. This was a fun ride with plenty of scenery and excellent trails. Outing is known to be one of the most ATV friendly areas in the state, it was a ride that everyone enjoyed. 

After meeting in Swatara to park and pack up for our adventure,  Dave Andrews headed up the ride, he'd been on this trail plenty of times so he was ready  to show us the routes.  Most of the group used their GPS to mark the trail for future use. It was a great time with lots of great scenery and some awesome trails.
