June 19th - Phase II of the UPM/Blandin ATV Trail

Members of the Rapids Riders ATV Club were on hand for the Grand Opening of Phase II of the UPM/Blandin ATV Trail on June 19th 2015. A short program was given at the Smith Creek parking lot about 11 miles south of Grand Rapids on Highway 169. Riders, trail ambassadors and local dignitaries gathered to hear about what it takes to bring a trail together in Northern Minnesota. Guests enjoyed lunch at the trail entrance and everyone got a chance to ride the trail soon after. 

The UPM/Blandin Trail runs through some of the most beautiful forest land in Itasca County. Trails are well marked and the Minnesota DNR has maps available online. (We've provided a link below)
