Youth Safety Class

What you need to attend our ATV Safety Class

ATV Youth Safety Information, Prerequisites & Location

Now that you have contacted Rapids Riders, a Youth Safety Instructor may contact you by phone or email for additional student information.

Course Prerequisites

The ATV/OHM online safety course is now online!
Youth ages 11-15 must complete the online course and are required to attend an instructor-led classroom review and operator course. Students age 16 and older will complete the online course and have the option to attend the operator course.

Students that want ONLY an OHM (off highway motorcycle) certificate are not required to attend an operator course.

Class Day

Picture
Class Sign-In is at 8:15 am & 1pm each day.  Rapids Riders ATV Club will provide a lunch for all participants. Our classes are provided free of charge with the help of our sponsors. Please show them your appreciation.

Rapids Riders members do not supply ATV's. Riders must provide their own machine. You will need to have it at the class for the practical ride portion of the class. ALL the appropriate riding gear is needed as well to take the driving test (helmet, gloves, over the ankle boots, goggles or glasses, long pants and long sleeved shirt).

The conservation officer does like to have the parents stay for the first hour or so.

Class Directions

The address for the class is: 33455 Wagon Wheel Court Rd, Grand Rapids 55744.

We've provided a Google Map to help you find your way to the Itasca Drift Skippers location.
Feel free to call me or respond if you need more info.
